The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is inviting applications for the recruitment to the post of “Direct Junior Accounts Officer (JAO).” The recruitment will be done for 996 posts. Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has released notification for direct recruitment for the combatised post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Steno). Application Process

Selection Process

The first stage will be Physical Standard Test (PST)/Documentation and candidates who qualify this only will be eligible to appear for OMR based written examination. The written examination will be conducted in English and Hindi. Candidates who qualify the written examination, will be called for Skill Test. Candidates qualifying Skill Test will be called for Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

Physical Standards Test/ Documentation

Candidates must fulfill the physical standards as given in the eligibility conditions. CRPF notification mentions that, "The candidates who do not fulfill the laid down physical standards will be eliminated from recruitment process by giving rejection slip, thereof, by Presiding Officer. However elimination on grounds of weight will be done at time of medical examination only. "

Candidates who qualify the physical standard test will be eligible fodocumentation. In documentation process, candidates shall have to produce original documents in support of eligibility.

Written Examination

The OMR based written examination (225 marks in total) will be held for those candidates who qualify in physical standards test. Candidates can get date and venue of the exam in the admit card (will be issued online before the exam).

Written exam will comprise of Hindi or English language, General Intelligence, numerical aptitude, clerical aptitude, descriptive paper (Essay writing and letter writing).

Skill TestThis will be a stenography/ short hand test for those candidates who qualify the written examination. It will be of qualifying nature only. While transcription test will be done on computers, dictation test can be taken in shorthand strokes.
Medical ExaminationCandidates who qualify the skill test will be required to appear for medical examination. In the official notification it is mentioned that, "The Medical will be conducted by the authorized doctor on board and the entire BOO including PO and members will remain present and ensure action in accordance of latest circulated instructions of the ADG Medical CAPF, MHA. "

In case candidates are not satisfied with the findings of the Medical Officer, they can submit for review medical examination.

Final Merit List

The final merit list is prepared taking the marks obtained in the written test. The minimum cut off percentage of marks will be 40% for general and ex-servicemen and 35% for SC/ ST/ OBC.

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released an official notification for recruitment to Assistant Agricultural Officer post.  Eligibility criteria

In order to be eligible for the post, candidate must go through the details of the eligibility criteria. Candidates must have cleared higher secondary exam (10+2 exam) and must have two Diploma in Agriculture from the Institutions recognised by the Government of Tamil Nadu or affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University; or Gandhigram Rural Institute, Dindigul District; or any other institutions under the control of the Commissioner of Agriculture.

Candidates should note that the Commission has made major changes in the examination and registration fee structure.

Candidates should also possess adequate knowledge of Tamil. Age limit for applying to this post is 18-30 years.

However there's no upper age limit for candidates belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and DWs of all Castes.

Selection Process

The Commission will select candidates through written exam and oral test (interview). The written exam will be held on 2 July 2017.
