NEET Exam 2018 Complete Study Notes Available

With a record over 11 lakh students registering for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to undergraduate medical course, the CBSE on Friday announced 23 more new examination cities taking the total number to 103. As against over 8.02 lakh candidates in 2016, this year, the number of candidates registering for NEET is in excess of 11.35 lakh, an increase of over 41%.

इस बार मेडिकल कोर्स में दाखिले के लिए रिकॉर्ड 11 लाख छात्र नीट (नेशनल इलेजिबिलेटी कम एंट्रेंस टेस्‍ट) के एग्‍जाम में बैठेंगे। इस बार 23 अन्‍य शहरों में एग्‍जाम के सेंटर बनाए गए हैं। इसकी वजह से इन शहरों की संख्‍या अब बढ़कर 103 तक पहुंच गई है। वर्ष 2016 में इस एग्‍जाम में करीब 8.02 लाख छात्र बैठे थे। इस बार इस एग्‍जाम को देने के लिए करीब 11.35 लाख छात्रों ने खुद को रजिस्‍टर्ड कराया है। यह पिछले वर्ष की तुलना में 41 फीसद अधिक है।

NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) is one of the most sought national level examination for year 2017. The test is conducted and regulated by the CBSE. NEET 2017 notification is expected to be released of the last January or in February 2017. It is held for providing admissions in MBBS/BDS courses offered by all government and private medical colleges in India. It is a one tier exam, commences once in a year in month of May. All seats (MBBS/BDS) of any medical/dental college will be filled by the score of NEET examination only. Appearance in NEET 2017 will be counted as first (1st) attempt.

As per the last order by Hon. Supreme Court, no other exam except NEET will be held for offering admission into MBBS/BDS courses in India from the year 2017 (except AIIMS & JIPMER).

All seats (MBBS/BDS) of any medical/dental college will be filled by the score of NEET examination only.

NEET 2017 can be written in 8 regional languages including English, Tamil, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi and Telugu.All the Indian citizen candidates should possess AADHAAR card issued by UIDAI. At the time of filling application form of NEET 2017, the candidates will have to enter their AADHAAR number, name, date of birth & gender which will be validated with the UIDAI’s data.  In case, these particulars do not match, the candidates will not be able to fill the application form for NEET 2017. 

As per the govt. ordinance, the NEET 2017 Examination will be held as a single window examination for admission to MBBS/BDS courses across the country. All state/university/private medical examinations has been scrapped. From the year 2017, 15% All India quota seats will be filled by NEET 2017 only.

1. Key to success in any medical entrance exam: Practice. Improve speed. Clear the concepts.

2. You need to know about the essential books and study materials/notes to crack the exams. Start with listing topics, subject wise. 

3. While preparing for the NEET or other medical entrance exams, keep making diary of all the important facts and formulae, points to remember, tricks and all other things, you feel like revising a few days before exams. 

4. Go through the subject study with emphasis according to syllabus mentioned by the medical exams syllabus. Make a study plan according to the number of days left for your state exam.

5. Clear concepts for those new topics, and keep revising the topics you have already read.

6. Regular practice mock test papers for test yourself before appearing in the exam. Revise all the topics at least once, timed practice tests before the exam.
