CGPSC State Service Exam 2018 Notification has been released by the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) on October 1, 2018. The CGPSC State Services Preliminary Examination is scheduled to be held on 17th February 2019 and the Main Examination will be organized from 21st to 24th June 2019. There are a total of 160 vacancies to be filled in various departments via CGPSC State Service Examination 2018. भारत के संविधान द्वारा आयोग के लिये निम्नलिखित कार्य निर्धारित किये गये हैः 1. राज्य की सेवाओं में नियुक्तियों के लिए परीक्षा का संचालन करना। छत्तीसगढ़ लोक सेवा आयोग (सी. जी. पी. एस. सी.) छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य के लोक सेवकों के चयन हेतु प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा के माध्यम से सिविल सेवकों का चयन करते हैं इसका मुख्यालय रायपुर में है (क) छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य प्रशासनिक सेवा परीक्षा 2. निम्नलिखित विषयों पर राज्य शासन को परामर्श :- (क) सिविल सेवाओं में और सिविल पदों के लिए भर्ती की पद्धतियों से संबंधित सभी विषयों पर। (ख) सिविल सेवाओं और पदों पर नियुक्ति करने में तथा एक सेवा से दूसरी सेवा में प्रोन्नति और अंतरण करने में अनुसरण किए जाने वाले सिद्धांतों पर और नियुक्ति, प्रोन्नति या अंतरण के लिए अभ्यर्थियों की उपयुक्तता पर। (ग) ऐसे व्यक्ति पर, जो भारत सरकार या किसी राज्य की सरकार की सिविल हैसियत में सेवा कर रहा है, प्रभाव डालने वाले, सभी अनुशासनिक विषयों पर, जिनके अंतर्गत ऐसे विषयों से संबंधित अभ्यावेदन या याचिकाएं हैं। (घ) ऐसे व्यक्ति द्वारा या उसके संबंध में, जो भारत सरकार या किसी राज्य की सरकार के अधीन या सिविल हैसियत में सेवा करते समय किसी व्यक्ति को हुई क्षतियों के बारे में पेंशन अधिनिर्णीत किए जाने के लिए किसी दावे पर और ऐसे अधिनिर्णय की रकम विषयक प्रश्न पर। CGPSC Exam PatternThe combined competitive examination comprises following successive stages: The Chhattisgarh State civil Services Preliminary Examination for selection of candidates for Main Examination. State Services Main Examination (written Examination and Interview) for final selection of candidates for the various categories of services and post. 1. Preliminary Examination – (Objective Type)In the Preliminary Examinations there will be 2 compulsory papers of 02 hours duration each. Both the question papers willhave objective type multiple choice questions. There will be five choices of answers for each question out of which one is to be selected.There will be negative marking for wrong answer. First Question Paper: General Studies (Question 100, Marks 200, Duration 2.00 Hours).02 marks will be awarded for each right answer and 01 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.Marks obtained=2R-W (where R stands for number of right answers and W stands for number of wrong answers.). Negative Marking : 1/3 Second Question Paper: Aptitude Test (Question 100, Marks 200, Duration 2.00 Hours) 02 marks will be awarded for each right answer and 01 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.Marks obtained=2R-W (where R stands for number of right answers and W stands for number of wrong answers.). Second Paper is qualifying Minimum Qualifying Marks: In each Question paper essential qualifying marks for unreserved category will be 33%,and 23% for reserved categories and handicapped candidates. Candidates will be short listed for main examination on the basis of merit. CGPSC Mains Exam PatternQuestion papers for Main Examination will be of Conventional nature i.e.: Short/ Medium/ Long answers Type. Candidates short listed for the Main Examination on the basis of Preliminary Examination (Screening Test) must appear for all the seven papers in Main Examination. Candidates selected for the Interview on the basis of Main Examination must appear in the Interview. Absence in any paper of Main Examination and Interview will be liable for disqualification. All the question papers except first -”Language” may be answered in Hindi or English chosen by the candidates. However a candidate will not be permitted to write part of the paper in Hindi and part of it in English. Total Marks of written exam : 1400 1. Question will asked in this pattern Paper II – Essay: There will be two sections in this paper. 1. National level Problems 2. Chhattisgarh State Problems. The Candidates will be given three options in each section and will have to write on one option from each section, the problem – solution (reason, present status including data and solution). Paper III to VII will contain the questions as given below: Section 01:- In this section there will be 20 compulsory questions from various parts of the syllabus of the paper concerned. Each question will carry02 marks. Thus the maximum marks in this section will be 40. (Word limit for answer of each question – about 30). Section-02:- In this section there will be 10 compulsory questions from various parts of the syllabus of the paper concerned. Each question will carry 04 marks. Thus the maximum marks in this section will be 40. (Word limit for answer of each question – about 60). Section 03:- In this section there will be 05 compulsory questions from various parts of the syllabus of the paper concerned. Each question will carry 08 marks. Thus the maximum marks in this section will be 40. (Word limit for answer of each question – about 100). Section 04:- In this section total 03 questions will be given from various parts of the syllabus of the paper concerned. Out of which 02 questions will have to be solved. Each question will carry 20 marks. Thus the maximum marks in this section will be 40. (Word limit for answer of each question – about 250). Section 05:- In this section total 02 questions will be given from various parts of the syllabus of paper concerned. Out of which 01 question will have to be solved.
