EPFO will recruit candidates for SSA and Stenographer posts. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official site of EPFO at epfindia.gov.in.

Employees Provident Fund Organisation, EPFO has invited applications from candidates for SSA and Stenographer posts. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official site of EPFO at epfindia.gov.in. This recruitment drive will fill up 2859 posts in the organisation.

EPFO SSA & Stenographer Apply Online 2023 has been started for a total of 2859 posts. Aspirants can submit only one application for the post only through an online medium from 27 March 2023 to 26 April 2023.

To apply online for the EPFO SSA Recruitment 2023, you can follow the steps below:

• Visit the official website of EPFO – www.epfindia.gov.in.
• Click on the “Recruitment” tab on the homepage.
• Check for the “EPFO SSA Recruitment” link and click on it.
• Read the official notification carefully, and check if you meet the eligibility criteria for the recruitment.
• If you are eligible, click on the “Apply Online” link.
• Upload the scanned copies of your signature & photograph.
• Pay the application fee through an online payment gateway.
• Check all the important details like Name, D.o.B. Exam Center etc. carefully before submitting the EPFO application form.
• Finally, click on the “Submit” button to complete the EPFO Apply Online application process.

EPFO SSA Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for EPFO Recruitment 2023 are given below in detail.

• Social Security Assistant (Group C): Candidates must possess the Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
• Stenographer (Group C): The candidate must be 12th class pass from a recognized Board.

The age limit for both the posts should be between 18 years to 27 years of age.

EPFO SSA Recruitment Age Limit 2023

The age of applicants must be between 18 and 27 years as of the closing date of the online application form. Age relaxation is applicable as per the applicable rules and regulations.

EPFO SSA Recruitment Age Relaxation 2023

The upper age limit for government servants can be relaxed up to 40 years, as per the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government. Applicants must provide supporting documentation in the prescribed format (Annexure VIII) as per the instructions issued by the Government of India to support their claim for age relaxation.

EPFO SSA Recruitment Educational Qualification 2023

On the closing date for online registration of the application, applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. Additionally, they must be able to type at a speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer, which corresponds to 10500 Key Depressions per Hour (KDPH) / 9000 KDPH on average for Data Entry Work. The time allowed for typing is ten minutes. Applicants who are awaiting the results of their final examination for the prescribed Essential qualification should not apply.

EPFO SSA Recruitment 2023 Selection Process

EPFO SSA Recruitment 2023 consists of 2 phases:

• Phase I- Examination (Objective Test)
• Phase II-Computer Skill Test (Computer Data Entry Test)

The selection process comprises of Phase I and Phase II examination. The Phase I exam for SSA will comprise of 600 marks question and time duration is 2 hours 30 minutes. Phase II for SSA is computer data entry test.

Phase I exam for Stenographer will comprise of 800 marks question and exam duration is 2 hours 10 minutes. Phase II is stenography test.

EPFO SSA Exam Pattern

Candidates must show up for the skill test in order to assess their accuracy and speed for data entry work. 30 words per minute in Hindi or 35 words per minute in English when typing on a computer. (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute translate to 10500 Key Depressions Per Hour (KDPH) and 9000 KDPH, respectively, for data entry work with an average of 5 key depressions per word. Applicants who have been selected for a skill test must take it.

EPFO Stenographer Exam Pattern

The Phase-I Examination shortlisted candidates will be expected to show up for the Stenography Skill Test. The given time is as follows:

• Dictation: Ten minutes at an average word speed of eighty. (Computer-based dictation will be used)
• Transcription: 50 minutes (in English) / 65 minutes (Hindi). (On computers only)

EPFO SSA Recruitment 2023 Salary

The EPFO SSA Recruitment 2023 notification contains information on the pay for the applicants who have been shortlisted for the positions of Social Security Assistant (SSA) and Stenographer. EPFO SSA’s starting pay is Rs. 29,200 (level 5), while that of a stenographer is Rs. 25,500. (level 4)
