The Andhra Pradesh Forest Department, one of the administrative divisions of the AP government, deals with the management of the forests in AP. The department works with the aim of managing, protecting, and conserving forests. The forest department is categorized into 12 territorial circles and 43 divisions. The department also conducts the recruitment process for AP Forest Department Jobs.

APPSC Forest Range Officer Syllabus
and Exam Pattern
The APPSC Forest Range Officer Syllabus would include the syllabus for the screening test, the main exam, and the Computer Proficiency Test. Candidates must prepare according to the syllabus set by the commission to secure a seat as a Forest Range Officer. Below is the syllabus for all the written exams conducted for the FRO recruitment 2020.
Screening Test
The APPSC FRO Syllabus for the Screening Test will include two parts namely A and B. Part A of the examination covers General Studies, Mental Ability, and Mathematics, whereas Part B Covers General Forestry – I & II. A detailed syllabus for both the parts is given in the table below.
