The Gujarat Judiciary Exam is a state-level examination conducted by the High Court of Gujarat for the recruitment of Civil Judges in the state judiciary. Gujarat High Court Civil Judge Exam FeeFees of the Gujarat High Court Civil Judge Exam depend on the category you belong to. If you belong to the general category, you have to pay Rs.1,000 and other bank charges for the exam. The application fee is Rs. 500 if you belong to a scheduled tribe, scheduled caste, physically disabled person, educationally or socially backward classes, ex-servicemen, etc. There is a separate section of payment, where you will be able to pay the fee through SBI e-Pay by clicking on the Pay fee option. Mains Exam PatternThe Gujarat Judiciary mains examination consists of three papers:
Paper 1 and paper 2 shall carry 75 marks each, and the time duration is 2.5 hours. Paper 3 carries 50 marks and the time duration of the exam is 1.5 hours. You can take paper 1 and paper 2 either in the English language or in the Gujarati language. You have to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the mains exam to get shortlisted for the viva-voce. Viva-Voce Test (Oral Interview)The viva-voce shall carry 50 marks. The main objective of the viva-voce is to assess your suitability for the cadre by judging the knowledge of the Law, the balance of the judgment, mental alertness, clear and logical exposition, attitude, skills, ethics, power of communication, power of assimilation, intellectual depth. You need to score at least 40% marks in this test to get selected for the Civil Judge post in Gujarat.
