CGPSC Complete Study Notes 2018

Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has released the result for State Service Examination (Prelims) 2016. The written exam was conducted on February 19, 2017. The exam was conducted for recruitment of eligible candidates for a total of 293 vacant posts in various state departments. As per the official notification on  CGPSC website, a total of 4395 candidates were supposed to be selected for appearing in the Main exam which is 15 times the number of vacant posts.

However, due to unavailability of eligible candidates 4113 candidates have been selected for appearing in the Main exam. Selected candidates will have to register for the Main exam on the official website. The registration process for Main exam will tentatively begin on April 18, and the commission will release official notice in this regard on the website on April 17, 2017. 

CGPSC Exam Pattern

The combined competitive examination comprises following successive stages:

The Chhattisgarh State civil Services Preliminary Examination for selection of candidates for Main Examination. State Services Main Examination (written Examination and Interview) for final selection of candidates for the various categories of services and post.

1. Preliminary Examination – (Objective Type)

In the Preliminary Examinations there will be 2 compulsory papers of 02 hours duration each. Both the question papers willhave objective type multiple choice questions. There will be five choices of answers for each question out of which one is to be selected.There will be negative marking for wrong answer.

First Question Paper: General Studies (Question 100, Marks 200, Duration 2.00 Hours).02 marks will be awarded for each right answer and 01 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.Marks obtained=2R-W (where R stands for number of right answers and W stands for number of wrong answers.).

Second Question Paper: Aptitude Test (Question 100, Marks 200, Duration 2.00 Hours) 02 marks will be awarded for each right answer and 01 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.Marks obtained=2R-W (where R stands for number of right answers and W stands for number of wrong answers.).

Minimum Qualifying Marks: In each Question paper essential qualifying marks for unreserved category will be 33%,and 23% for reserved categories and handicapped candidates.Candidates will be short listed for main examination on the basis of merit.

Question Paper 2

Aptitude Test (Questions 100, Marks 200), Time: 2 hours.

Syllabus includes:

Interpersonal skills including communication skills;Logical reasoning and analytical ability Decision making and problem solving General mental ability Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude etc.) (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. -Class X level) Knowledge of Hindi Language (Class X level). Knowledge of Chhattisgarhi Language. Knowledge of Hindi Language and Chhattisgarhi Language will be tested in Hindi and Chhattisgarhi Language only, without providing translation.

CGPSC Mains Exam Pattern

Question papers for Main Examination will be of Conventional nature i.e.: Short/ Medium/ Long answers Type.

Candidates short listed for the Main Examination on the basis of Preliminary Examination (Screening Test) must appear for all the seven papers in Main Examination. Candidates selected for the Interview on the basis of Main Examination must appear in the Interview. Absence in any paper of Main Examination and Interview will be liable for disqualification.

All the question papers except first -”Language” may be answered in Hindi or English chosen by the candidates.

However a candidate will not be permitted to write part of the paper in Hindi and part of it in English.

Paper II – Essay: There will be two sections in this paper. 1. National level Problems 2. Chhattisgarh State Problems. The Candidates will be given three options in each section and will have to write on one option from each section, the problem – solution (reason, present status including data and solution).

Paper III to VII will contain the questions as given below: Section 01:- In this section there will be 20 compulsory questions from various parts of the syllabus of the paper concerned. Each question will carry02 marks. Thus the maximum marks in this section will be 40. (Word limit for answer of each question – about 30).

Section-02:- In this section there will be 10 compulsory questions from various parts of the syllabus of the paper concerned. Each question will carry 04 marks. Thus the maximum marks in this section will be 40. (Word limit for answer of each question – about 60).

Section 03:- In this section there will be 05 compulsory questions from various parts of the syllabus of the paper concerned. Each question will carry 08 marks. Thus the maximum marks in this section will be 40. (Word limit for answer of each question – about 100).

Section 04:- In this section total 03 questions will be given from various parts of the syllabus of the paper concerned. Out of which 02 questions will have to be solved. Each question will carry 20 marks. Thus the maximum marks in this section will be 40. (Word limit for answer of each question – about 250).

Section 05:- In this section total 02 questions will be given from various parts of the syllabus of paper concerned. Out of which 01 question will have to be solved. This question will carry 40 marks. Thus the maximum marks in this section will be 40. (Word limit for answer of the question – about 500).

Interview/ Personality Test

Interview/ Personality Test will be carry 150 marks.

What kind of strategy needs for final selection?

Everyone asks oneself how we can become a civil servant. How to go about preparation? It is depends on how much time you have at your disposal. छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य प्रशासनिक परीक्षा 2015 टॉपर : हिमांचल साहू

छत्तीसगढ़ लोक सेवा आयोग की राज्य प्रशासनिक परीक्षा में छोटे शहरों के उम्मीदवारों ने बाजी मारी है। नवागढ़ के हिमांचल साहू पहले स्थान पर हैं। दूसरे स्थान पर खरसिया की पूजा बंसल और तीसरे स्थान पर बिलासपुर की रुचि शर्मा हैं। 19 विभागों के 352 पदों के लिए राज्य सेवा परीक्षा 2015 हुई थी। टॉप टेन में खरसिया, बसना, शिवरीनारायण, डबरा और अंबिकापुर के प्रतिभागियों का चयन हुआ है।

इनमें सामान्य वर्ग के पांच और पिछड़ा वर्ग के पांच अभ्यर्थी हैं। पांच महिला तो पांच पुरुष हैं। हिमांचल साहू और पूजा बंसल के बीच मात्र ढाई नंबरों का फासला है। हिमांचल को 874 अंक और पूजा को 872.5 अंक मिले हैं। रुचि शर्मा को 865 अंक मिले हैं।

विवाद

शुरु से ही विवादों में रहा छत्तीसगढ़ लोक सेवा आयोग (पीएससी) एक बार फिर विवादों में घिरता नजर आ रहा है। इस बार विवाद विकलांग कोटे के पद में एक ही श्रेणी के लोगों काे लाभ पहुंचाने को लेकर सामने आया है। 2015 में पीएससी ने 19 अलग-अलग विभागों के 352 पदों के लिए भर्ती परीक्षा का आयोजन किया था। इसमें से 5121 अभ्यर्थियों का चयन मुख्य परीक्षा के लिए किया गया इसमें 1034 लोगों का चयन मुख्य परीक्षा के बाद साक्षात्कार के लिए किया गया। इनमें विकलांग श्रेणी के 45 लोग शामिल थे। पीएससी द्वारा 352 में से 341 पद के लिए चयन सूची जारी की गई है। नि:शक्तजनों की तीनों श्रेणी के 45 लोगों को साक्षात्कार के लिए बुलाया गया था। जिसमें आर्थों के 39, श्रवण बाधित के 2 आैर ब्लाइंड आैर लो विजन के 4 लोग शामिल थे। इनमें से 14 लोगों को विकलांग श्रेणी के तहत पद दिए गए हैं जिनमें 13 पद अस्थिबाधित श्रेणी के आैर एक पद ब्लाइंड श्रेणी के अभ्यर्थी को दिया गया। एचएच (श्रवण बाधित) श्रेणी के एक भी अभ्यर्थी का चयन नहीं किया गया। अब श्रवण बाधित श्रेणी के अभ्यर्थी कोर्ट जाने की तैयारी में हैं। 

राज्य शासन द्वारा साल 2014 में जारी आरक्षण नियम के मुताबिक किसी भी प्रकार की भर्ती परीक्षा में नि:शक्तजनों के लिए 6 प्रतिशत आरक्षण घोषित किया है। जिनमें से 2 प्रतिशत नेत्रहीन, 2 प्रतिशत बधिर व्यक्ति, तथा शेष 2 फीसदी अन्य स्वरुप की विकलांगता के लिए आरक्षित किया गया है।
