UP PCS J refers to the Uttar Pradesh Judicial Service Civil Judge (Junior Division) Examination. It is a competitive examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) for the recruitment of Civil Judges (Junior Division) in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

The UP PCS J examination is a three-stage selection process, including a preliminary examination, a main examination, and a personal interview. The preliminary examination is an objective type test consisting of multiple-choice questions. The main examination consists of subjective type questions, and the personal interview is the final stage of the selection process.

Madhya Pradesh High Court (MPHC) has declared the  result for the post of Civil Judge Junior Division (Entry Level) Main Written Exam-2021 on its official website. Madhya Pradesh High Court (MPHC) will conduct Civil Judge Junior Division (Entry Level) Main Written Exam-2021 from 27 August 2022 onwards.

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued the interview letters for the Judicial Services competitive examination. 691 candidates have been issued the interview letter to appear for the interview. The interview will be conducted from August 22, 2022 to September 3, 2022. 

The 31st judicial services competitive examination was held to fill up a total of 221 vacancies.

The High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi has released the vacancy details for recruiting Civil Judge (Junior Division) of the Jharkhand Judicial Service. Comprising existing and future vacancies, a total of 86 vacancies will be filled via the recruitment process. It must be noted that the recruitment process is going to be conducted via preliminary entrance test, main examination and viva-voce test.

The preliminary entrance test will be qualifying in nature. It will be a written examination having a multiple choice question (MCQ) or objective-type pattern. Candidates who will qualify for this test are going to be eligible for the main examination. The test will be held for 100 marks spanning over a duration of 02 hours. However, the marks obtained will not be counted for the purpose of final selection. There is no negative marking on the test.

The online application forms are not yet out and will be available in due time. All applications have to be submitted via the official website of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC), i.e. jpsc.gov.in. Candidates must fill out the application form as per the provisions and instructions are given in the official advertisement.

The Chhattisgarh Judicial Service Examination is conducted every year by the Chhattisgarh High Court for recruitment to the Civil Judge cadre.

Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) conducts the Maharashtra Judiciary Exam exam to recruit candidates for the roles of Civil Judge ( Junior Division). This exam is also called as MPSC Civil Judge Exam, JMFC – Judicial Magistrate First Class, or CJJD – Civil Judge Junior Division.

The candidates who have completed their bachelor’s degree in law from any reputed university can apply for Maharashtra Judiciary Exam 2022. The exam is conducted in three different phases namely, prelims, mains, and interview rounds. 

The High court of Karnataka, the Bangalore High court conducts the Karnataka Judiciary Exam to select the appropriate candidates for the posts of civil judges. The candidates have to qualify three stages of the Karnatak judiciary recruitment process namely, pre, main, and interview. Only qualified candidates will be eligible for the posts of the civil judges in the various subordinate courts of Karnataka.

The High Court of Kerala has recently released the official notification regarding the Kerala Judicial Services Examination 2022. A total of 42 vacancies have been released for the post of Munsiff - Magistrate. The candidates will be shortlisted for the viva voce/interview through a two stages exam process consisting of prelims and mains exam.

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) annually releases vacancies for the post of Civil Judge. Application process will begin soon for the TNPSC Civil Judge Recruitment 2022. The exam will be conducted in three phases. Candidates qualifying all the levels will be called for the recruitment process. The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has published the Odisha Judicial Services Recruitment 2022 for the post of Civil Judge on its official website. A total of 53 positions in the Odisha Judicial Service 2022 Law Department have been notified, with 17 seats reserved for female candidates. Online applications for the exam became available on December 21, 2021, and closed on January 20, 2022. 

The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) conducts the WBPSC Judicial Service Recruitment Exam every year to assess the eligibility of the candidates for the post of Civil Judge (Junior Division) under the Government of West Bengal.

The High Court of Delhi publishes the official notification of the Delhi Judicial Services Exam (DJSE), which is conducted annually to recruit eligible aspirants for the Civil Judge post in the Delhi Civil Service (Judicial Branch). 

This year, the High Court announced a total of 123 vacancies, out of which 55 were existing ones and 68 were anticipated vacancies.

The Delhi Judicial Prelims exams were successfully concluded in April and shortlisted candidates must attend the Delhi Judicial Mains examination that will be conducted shortly.

The Mizoram Judicial Service Examination for Grade-III of Civil Judge Cadre of the Mizoram Judicial Service is conducted every year by the Gauhati High Court. Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Department.

Gujarat High Court will soon publish the most awaited official notification for the Gujarat Judicial Services Examination to fill in various posts of Civil Judge in the Gujarat Civil Service (judicial branch).

The Assam Judicial Service Examination is conducted every year by the Gauhati High Court for recruitment to the Grade III posts in the AJS.

Andhra Pradesh Judicial Services exam is conducted by Andhra Pradesh High Court, Amaravati every year for recruitment of Civil Judges (Junior Division) in the Andhra Pradesh state. The Andhra Pradesh Civil Judge (Junior Division) Exam 2020 Interview round was conducted on 14th March 2022 & its result declared on 30th March 2022 recruiting candidates against 68 vacancies notified for the year 2020. Andhra Pradesh Civil Judge (Junior Division) Exam 2022 dates is yet to be notified by the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
