WBJEE Exam 2023
WBJEE or West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination is a state-level entrance exam for colleges in West Bengal. It provides admission to various UG courses like Engineering and Technology, Architecture, and Pharmacy offered by Government, Self Financing Engineering, and Technological Institutes in West Bengal.
As per WBJEE 2022 Exam Pattern, the question paper consist of three categories of questions- Category 1 questions carry 1 mark each while Category 2 and 3 questions carry 3 marks each.
WBJEE 2022 Syllabus is based on the Class 11th and 12th syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The syllabus is at par with other engineering entrances such as JEE Main, BITSAT, VITEEE, etc.
WBJEE 2022 Counselling notification has been released on the official website. The counselling is going to be conducted very soon. WBJEE 2022 Counselling will consist of two phases - phase 1 is for admission into engineering, technology, and Pharmacy and phase 2 is for agriculture admission.
WBJEE 2022 result was declared on June 17, 2022 at the official website. Candidates have to enter their registration number and date of birth to access their results. WBJEE 2022 Result is consist of total secured marks, personal details, obtained rank, and subject-wise marks. The qualified candidates are going to be callled for WBJEE 2022 Counselling.
- The counselling is expected to be conducted in the last week of August 2022.
- Candidates of the general category have to score 45% to qualify for WBJEE 2022 whereas, SC/ST/OBC-B/OBC-A, and PwD candidates need to score a minimum of 40% to qualify for WBJEE 2022.

WBJEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria
- According to the reports of WBJEE 2021, 65,170 candidates appeared for the exam of which 64,850 candidates were eligible for the counselling process.

WBJEE 2022 Exam Pattern
- WBJEEB has been conducting WBJEE in offline mode only as an OMR-based examination.
- Candidates are required to select the right answer by darkening the appropriate circle completely on WBJEE response sheet with a blue/black ball point pen.
- WBJEE 2022 consists of 2 papers, each allotted a different time slot on the same day. Each paper is held for 2 hours.
- There are three categories of questions asked in WBJEE-
- Category 1- 1 mark questions with a negative marking of ¼ for each incorrect answer.
- Category 2- 2 mark questions with a negative marking of ½ for each incorrect answer.
- Category 3- 2 mark questions with no negative marking.

WBJEE 2022 Marking Scheme
- The total number of questions for each subject in WBJEE is divided into 3 categories, wherein, Physics & Chemistry have the same number of questions in each category i.e. 30, 5 & 5 in category 1, 2 & 3 respectively; whereas Mathematics consists of 50, 15 & 10 in category 1, 2 & 3 respectively.
- Although the number of questions varies for the subjects, WBJEE 2022 Marking Scheme for each category of every subject is the same and as provided below

MHT CET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The MHT CET 2022 eligibility has been announced by the exam conducting authority along with the release of the application form. Candidates applying for MHT CET 2022 must ensure they fulfil the conditions required for admission failing which their candidature will be cancelled.
Candidates applying for MHT CET 2022 can refer to the complete eligibility criteria here. As per the criteria, all the candidates who have passed/appeared at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Standard or its equivalent and have Indian Nationality are eligible to appear for the MHT CET exam.
